She's a Woman
I wrote this song for my mother back in the 80's.
Life was hard for her. But she always persevered.
I decided to re-arrange and record it in a more genuine way to give it the respect it always needed.

She's a Woman
Lyrics
Trying to make it better
By doing the best she can
These little children to feed
She’s trying to love her man
Even though he told her he loved her
He started to stray
And what could she say went wrong
Now she’s all alone with her memories
This wasn’t the life that she had planned
She’s a woman whose all on her own
She’s a woman whose tired of being alone
She’s a woman whose not satisfied
And she’s tired…tired of being alone
So many years behind her
Her life seems to pass her by
The children have grown and have left her
Why would she even try
Her memories fall back to her mother
She told her that life was hard to understand
She lived her life the way that she had to
It wasn’t the life that she had planned
She’s a woman whose all on her own
She’s a woman whose tired of being alone
She’s a woman whose not satisfied
And she’s tired…tired of being alone
She could be happy if he only loved her
The way that he promised he would
Something inside that was always denied
The life she wouldn’t forgive
She’s a woman whose all on her own
She’s a woman whose tired of being alone
She’s a woman whose not satisfied
And she’s tired…tired of being alone
